day two - nom.

today was an okay day. good on drinking...bad on some food.

still didn't crave that morning coke!

started off with water and a little granola and nut snack. e ate my raisins.

had a few of e's gold fish crackers, and a few slices of turkey when she had her morning snack. drank another water.

w brought me lunch. she picked up jimmy johns so i had my usual, turkey tom, a coke, and we shared chips.

had another water after my workout.

got hungry around 3 and had some apple cinnamon rice cake bites...and another water.

for dinner i had two grilled chicken tenderloins, a bowl of candied carrots and part of a baked potato...and a beer. :(

then i was craving popcorn and gave in. (microwaved, not air popped) washed it down with another glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and another water.

i'll have to look up how much my water bottle holds. i'm guessing 20oz.

so water intake was good today!

i want to try and cutout the evening snack. or at least find a healthier one. it will be hard to cut it out completely because we watch movies a lot!

  1. hey this doesn't look that bad!!! :)
    the turkey tom is around 500 calories and 20grams of fat. so, maybe have half and half the chips -if u must.
    also, try baked carrots with some olive oil spray and salt/pepper. you will cut out a ton of sugar. processed sugar feeds fat cells.
    i hear ya on popcorn, matt loves it! so i just got the 100 calorie bags. easy and no measuring.
    i eat rice cakes too, with a bit if peanut butter (curbs hunger and good nut fat).

  2. A tip to make Jimmy John's healthier... get the unwich! It cuts the calories in half and still tastes almost as good. We eat a fair amount of JJs at work, so I can justify it by almost always getting the unwich.
